We decided we had to see the Schmidts in Virginia while they're still there and April just seemed like a good time to go. A road trip also seemed like a great idea... we would be able to stop in Pittsburgh on the way there to see our first place and have a yummy crepe (even got to see some old friends from Chicago!), and we would be able to stop on the way back at some friends from Pittsburgh who are now living Ohio. So, off we went... prepared with DVDs, snacks, books and other car activities prepared.
Our visit was wonderful! We were able to watch the kids enjoy being with their cousins again. We got to visit a fun park with a carousel and a train ride. And, we spent a day in D.C. going to the Museum of Natural History and a long walk to see the cherry blossoms and the Lincoln Memorial. Thanks to Jeff and Teri for having us!!!
