1 - With Granny and Grandpa in Palatine: They took the train down to Des Plaines to visit the Choo Choo Restaurant. Lily loved having the train bring her food and cupcake ;) This was the best she did at blowing out the candle followed back at their house with round one of presents.
2 - Her REAL birthday at home with family. She got a Birthday PopTart, complete with candle. Family presents... a pool picked out by Drew, presents from her Schmidt cousins and a special birthday cookie.
3 - Nana and Papa came to visit to celebrate and continue with round 3 of presents and a special dessert jello (made to look like a ship at sea) and birthday blueberry pie.
4 - Finally her PARTY! Oh, how she had been looking forward to this! The kids had a blast at Lillian's Island party with the boat, sand castle creations, pineapple cups and fishy cupcakes. What fun! Oh, and yes, round 4 of presents!
Least I forget, round 5 of presents from Uncle Eric and Aunt Monica when we saw them 4th of July Weekend.
If this girl didn't already think this world was made for her... these celebrations sure helped! Just kidding ;) As diva as she sometimes is, and the personality that shines everyday through her looks, sense of humor and dramatics, Lily is truly a light in our lives that brings happiness and joy to every day.
