LIly is 9 months old!

And her 9 month stats are VERY similar to Drew's! (it puts her in much higher %iles though because she's a girl;)

Height: Lily = 29.25; Drew = 29.5

Weight: Lily = 20 lb.; Drew = 19 lb.

Head: Both at 47 cm. (big heads!)

She is a mover now and LOVES to play with the music table, caterpillar gym, anything she can put in her mouth and DREW (possibly her favorite thing in the world... along with his toys).

Which leads me to my next thought.... he is starting to get frustrated with the fact that she can get to his toys and wants to play with them... something he's not ready for her to do;) I've decided that having them so close in age has helped with the fact that his toys, thankfully, don't pose choking hazards.

Our other big move is that Lily is out of the infant car seat! We bought a new car seat for Drew, one that will last through booster stage. And Lily is now rear-facing in the toddle Orbit car seat. They were both all smiles yesterday and today as they get to try out their new car seats! Drew loves that he has a cup holder and special compartments to keep things... like his new sunglasses! (Yes, he has sunglasses because Mommy has sunglasses and "the sun is in my eyes Mommy!" He loves them!) Lily is enjoying that she can peek around and see Drew and can see out the window.

Now, because she's no longer in the infant seat... I had to take them to the grocery store today for the first time with Lily in the cart seat and Drew in the big part of the cart. Thankfully he was happy playing with my iPhone, and sat nicely the whole time (even as food piled up in his lap!) Lily really enjoyed sitting in the cart... I just had to work hard to keep the teething princess from constantly biting the icky-germ-filled-cart!
