Lily took her first plane trip and was a wonderful flier! She snuggled and slept in Mommy's arms the whole time. Drew got to sit on Daddy's lap for both flights and also did a great job (even with a two hour stop in South Bend)! This was probably Drew's last plane trip as a lap child... we'll have to pay for him from now on!
We had a fabulous trip to Clearwater! Drew learned several new words... beach, pool, bird, tiki, tube, etc... And, showed us his manners by saying please and thank you (especially if it meant getting a piece of chocolate from a resident of the building who thought he was just adorable;) Lily loved the sun, but isn't too fond of the water yet. We spent a lot of time down at the beach and pool. We got to visit Winter at the Clearwater Aquarium and see all types of birds at the Bird Sanctuary. What a nice way to "end" our summer! At least we got to wear shorts and sandals and Lily actually got to wear a couple things for the first and only time!
