I took my first plane trip! Mommy and Daddy took me to Florida to visit Granny and Grandpa. I had a great time at the airport (delays both ways, but I was good!) and on the plane (I got to sit on their lap on the way down and in my carseat on the way back).
My Firsts in Florida...
1. I went swimming in the pool. The water was warm, but it was cold when I got out! We spent most of the day lounging under the tiki's in nice warm weather.
2. I got to play in the sand and dipped my feet in the Gulf of Mexico, that water was cold!
3. Granny and Grandpa babysat me one night while Mommy and Daddy went to their favorite Florida restaurant - Frenchy's. I had a great time with Granny and Grandpa. Granny loves to play with me and I love to fall asleep in Grandpa's arms!
4. Mommy really like orange swirl ice cream, so we all went to get some.
5. We visited Clearwater Marine Aquarium. We got to watch them feed the turtles and learn about the dolphins that they rescued. One doesn't have a tail!
6. We all went down to John's Pass and walked around. It was really windy, and a little chilly.
7. I met my Great Uncle John and Aunt Dottie. We all went to eat at Guppy's. Yummy seafood!
8. A couple days were windy and cool, so we stayed inside. I was having tummy time on the floor on my 10 week birthday, and decided to roll myself over. Interesting! I wonder when I'll figure out how to do that again!
9. Oh - almost forgot... I got to wear shorts, and short sleeves and went for walks outside with no blankets. I felt warm weather! How nice!!!
Overall, we all had a great time and can't wait to go back! Especially when the weather in Chicago is so ICKY!

Drew -Grandpa and I loved having you and your mommy and daddy visit us in Florida! You were such a good baby and we had such fun with you on the beach and in the pool. Hopefully next time you come it will be warmer and not so windy and we can build sandcastles.
