The GOOD




I celebrated my cousing Caroline's 7th birthday in West Lafayette. It was great to see family again. Mommy and Daddy were so excited to take me to the place they met. I wore my Purdue shirts again (it's a great weekend outfit)!

I smiled! =) My Mommy goes to crazy extremes to try to get me to smile. I humor her every now and then and flash my toothless grin! She loves it! I spent a long time just smiling up at my Daddy on Valentine's Day, he couldn't stop smiling back at me!

Valentine's Day was my Mommy's birthday. We went shopping on Michigan Avenue. Then they went out to dinner and left me with Monica. She's a great babysitter!




Oh, BIG news... I sleep in my own room now in a big crib! Daddy tricked Mommy into letting me do this one night. I was asleep before she got home and there I stayed all night. Thanks Daddy! I love my own room!

The Bad

Before I forget, I'm not always the perfect little baby! Mommy wants me to remind everyone of a few things I can do...

I spent an entire day being grumpy! It's not my fault that this world is so exciting that I don't want to sleep. I fought off a nap all day, and only took cat naps in my parent's arms. Finally, around 7 pm my Mom tricked me into napping for 2 hours before I got hungry. As you can see in my Mommy's birthday picture, I can CRY!

I'm not "sleeping through the night" yet. What's the big deal about that??? I like my nighttime snacks. They should be happy I go right back to sleep!
